Social Services Network (SSN) Youth Group– “Youth Vybez” invites you to the First Annual Youth Vybez Barbeque. The barbeque will be on Saturday July 14th, 2012 from 2 p.m-5 p.m at 8 Shadlock Street, Unit 5A Markham Ontario.
Come and join us for an afternoon of food, refreshments and free entertainment. Listen to live music, watch cultural performances, get henna done, and enjoy yourself with your family, friends and neighbors.
South Asian youth have identified the need for a safe space where they can meet. Youth Vybez wants to work with the youth in creating a safe place where they can meet and connect, build leadership skills and capacity of the youth to advocate for themselves and also deliver presentations on various topics that are not always taught in the school system.
Social Services Network is a non- for profit organization with diverse South Asian Communities including families and youth. SSN has recently moved to a new location Markham Community Hub. This barbeque is to introduce the Youth to the new Markham Community Hub. Youth Vybez wants to establish a safe space for the youth at the Markham Community Hub where they can meet regularly with their friends.
