Luxury in a Box: LuxeBox

Counting ‘6’ items in the LuxeBox that we received here at Masalamommas, from Tea to perfume to skin care products.

The presentation of the box is simple classy and trendy. We really felt like it was customized to our order.  The items are wrapped in the box with tissue with a personalized sticker stamped with our name how adorable is that? Opening up the box we also found a note from the founder of loosebutton.com and a card with item details and price points. Impressed??? We are.

As the beauty editor for Masalamommas.com, I had the pleasure of testing out the products. The first thing that caught my eye was the “Benefit” Cosmetics item, I couldn’t resist the packaging so girlie.

Perfect timing to get their Total Moisture Facial Cream  (TMFC) and the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion (MPTL) with the temps dropping our skin changes along with that you will see more dryer dull skin.  Infused with moisture the creams  (TMFC) texture is nothing but hydrating. They have formulated this cream so your skin reserves it’s own water and reinforces the skins moisture barrier. It contains mango butter, a natural plan-based emollient known to provide moisture. What a smart idea a moisture toning lotion so you can receive complete benefits from your moisturizer (MPTL).  The main goal is to prep your skin for extra radiance and a smoother texture.  It contains vitamin E and botanical extracts known to purify & smooth while reducing fine lines. I don’t know about you but I am a big fan of this duo skin care system and I love hydrated healthy looking skin.

Another fav was the ‘lip treats’ from www.mereadesso.com a Toronto-based skin care company created by Linda a former cosmetic executive. The packaging is simple and clean as so is the logo.  I have been using the treatment for a week now I enjoyed the non-waxy texture and the hydration it left on my lips.  The ‘lip treat’ is combined with Vita A, C and E also has coconut oil and grape seed to add to the hydrating benefit to your lips.  Having both Benefit and Mereadesso part of my skin care regime I am ready to conquer the harsh cold weather.
