With all of the work parties, desi parties and Christmas dinners, what is a girl to cram into her bag to keep the holiday look fresh? We’ve all just grabbed cosmetics on the go and dumped them in hoping for the best.

Well, I’m here to share some of my favourites and also my go-to colours and essentials to keep your face fresh while you dance away the night.

  1. A dazzling nude: These are great for the nights you have a few ‘changes’ to make and you’re not sure which outfit with which colour. Solution: a nude lipstick! Colourlicious Lipstick from COVERGIRL is a favourite and I’ve even relied on it for work and parent-teacher interviews.  lipstick
  2. A hot red or pink shade: America’s #1 long-wear lip color!* The advanced formula, with resilient, brilliant coverage, color, and shine, gives you up to 16 hours of color that stays true, in just 2 easy, breezy steps. COVERGIRL Outlast’s long-lasting lip color has a moisturizing topcoat that helps lock in shine – no feathering, no bleeding.lipstick
  3. Eyelash curler: these are essential if you don’t necessarily have naturally-occuring curled eyelashes like me. Mine go straight out! and this tool easily fits into your purse.
  4. A Quick Eye fix: Eye Cream to go, especially for those nights you are out late, makeup gets a bit dry around the eyes. Dabbing a bit of Luminous Dark Circle olayCorrecting Hydra Swirl is a great addition to your routine. It uses a gel to hydrate and a cream to instantly reduce the appearance of dark circles.  COVERGIRL intensify me! Liquid Liner is also a must-have on the go. The tip gives either a thick and dramatic or thin look to freshen up as needed.eyeliner
