New Column: MM @ Work

The working masalamomma comes in all forms: work from home, work at home, working outside the home..it’s a juggle whether you work or not. Sometimes some of us look to make that next career move, that return to work transition or want to quit our day jobs to start something of our own. We here at masalamommas are hoping to provide a sounding board for just that challenge. A place to answer common questions about what recruiters look for, prepping for a transition change, or that tricky interview.

Welcome to that space: MM @ Work will feature our masalamomma and recruitment expert Shweta Jacob.

Shweta Jacob is an award-winning recruitment professional by day who has done placements of everything from IT, Administrative, Legal and Finance professionals across industries. Over the span of her career she has interviewed over 1000 candidates and helped many newcomers land their first job in Canada. Shweta lives in Toronto with her husband, who was her college sweetheart, and their beautiful toddler. She now juggles working full-time outside the home with the demands of being a masalamomma!
