Starting Wednesday, January 11th at 11pm, Rogers TV viewers can enjoy a weekly dose of living in someone else’s stilettos.
Housewives of Lorne Park, a community-produced series, follows the lives of six dynamic women, Alka Dhir, Sujata Kale-Banerjea, Komal Puri, Niki Luciani, Monika Verma and Tina Singh.

Showcasing the elegance and prominence that is Lorne Park, these women take you through the trials and tribulations of their work, family and everyday life, all while planning a grand finale party. Watch as their relationships and patience get tested as tensions rise and egos clash.

The Housewives of Lorne Park:

Alka Dhir is a case study in multi-tasking, from launching a modern Indian restaurant to playing mom to a growing family of four. This marketing professional, co-restaurant owner, internet start-up entrepreneur and everyday supermom attributes her success to honesty, dedication and a belief that with enough hard work anything is possible.

Sujata Kale-Banerjea is a refreshing mix between a holistic, active living mom and an ever- working activist for beliefs near and dear to her heart. Sujata is a humanitarian by nature, she takes pride in giving back to those in need by helping in any way she can. Her interests include keeping healthy, eating all natural foods, maintaining fitness challenges with the other housewives, and of course, her Porsche Panamera.

Komal Puri moved to Canada 13 years ago from Boston with her family and she loves living in Lorne Park. She worked as a technical writer for a few years and later as a restaurant owner where she honed her business skills. Currently Komal has settled down and devotes herself to her family and kids.

Niki Luciani grew up in Mississauga, attended Glenforest Secondary School and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto. She then graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and began practicing General Dentistry back in her hometown. She now owns two dental practices with her husband of seven years whom she met in Dental School. The couple has one daughter, Saisha, who is three and Niki is now expecting another child.

Monika Verma attended Mississauga’s Applewood Heights Secondary School and later Glenforest Secondary School for her graduating year. Monika graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She met her soul mate in 2002 and they married two years later. Monika values deep close relationships, having fun, new experiences, and healthy living. Monika lives her life as authentically as possible by being true to herself.

Tina Singh was born and raised in Chatham. She moved to Toronto for a career in interior decorating and met her husband of 10 1/2 years. She has two children: a daughter, Shardia, 8 years old and a son, Arjun, 6 years old. Tina is the owner and founder of an established interior decorating and property staging company based out of Mississauga. Her office is located in Port Credit. She loves to shop and spend other people’s money, wisely of course. Tina is presently building a 5000 square foot home in Lorne Park.
