Fact: There are not many kids and women out there who do not love stuffed toys, even the ferocious lions and cheetahs!

Task: Turn a gorgeous mommy-to-be into a wildly happy person in the room, with a safari-themed baby shower.

tanaRi events’ brainstorming session: Excited about the idea of a work day with stuff toys & jungle music! ‘hakuna matata’ vibe in the office!!
Decision: A ‘funfari’ baby shower for our lovely mommy-to-be!

Instead of going literal with the theme, we took a metaphorical approach and put forth a ‘funfari’ themed baby shower, which was described by guests as ‘elegant’, ‘modern’ and ‘absolute fun’.

We took color and texture ideas from the wild, and infused them into the ‘funfari’ décor.  One could see animals and nature in all the elements of the party from bright green and yellow paper lanterns, bamboo table runner, white and green balloons, wish tree, to the wood themed plates and cutlery sets.
One of the popular items was the personalized water bottles which, again, carried forth the jungle theme.  The baby shower games and the party favors had elements of the wild life and were well received by the guests.

Our specially ordered desserts from Baked by Melissa captured the ‘funfari’ theme perfectly and added a ‘wild’ taste to the party!
This party will go into tanaRi events’ memories as one that was a lot of fun to organize, as much as it was enjoyable to be a part.
