This year, the Mélissa Nepton brand celebrates its five year anniversary as one of the county’s leading womenswear brands. Launched in 2009 by designer Mélissa Nepton, the namesake brand has grown to become a top Canadian line known for stylish, flattering clothing with a feminine yet casual feeling. Nepton’s garments are entirely made-in-Canada and are available at more than 100 boutiques across the country.

For her Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Nepton was inspired by a romantic warrior. The collection showcases her evolution as a designer, as she continues to perfect the art of creating sophisticated yet relaxed designs and silhouettes for women of all sizes.
The collection, featuring turtleneck basics, dresses, skirts layered on pants, wide oversize jumpsuits and big puffy vests, engages in a soft battle of rich, supple and draped fabrics against rigid cuts and structured lines. White, pale beige, navy and warm pastel tones are contrasted with black and geometrical jacquards, creating a unique harmonization of a monochrome look.
An urban clash between 70s nostalgia and traditional oriental rigor is showcased by contrasts in matte and shiny fabrics, leather textures and spangled finishings, as well as chunky knits and fine silks.

I always have a crisp white shirt in my spring wardrobe to be paired with blue jeans
My absolute fave piece of clothing is a pair of comfortable black pencil pants and an everyday cardigan I can grab and go!
I always have a gray cardigan which can be styled with many of my clothes!
I always have a floral dress in my spring wardrobe. Right now my current fav is a blue and yellow floral A-line dress. It’s nice to welcome spring with bright happy and feminine clothes.
Floral skinnies are a spring MUST HAVE. I recently picked up a new pair from shopbop during their big sale. I love pairing floral pants with either a nice bold-coloured cashmere sweater or a white Equipment silk blouse. I love spring!!!
