In a few weeks all eyes will be on Toronto as the world famous Toronto International Film Festival takes the city by storm for the 39th year. With celebrities from all walks of life and their entourages in attendance, the city is going to be in full paparazzi alert.

Masalamommas has the inside scoop on where you can enjoy some sips and nibbles in the hopes of spotting some of your favourite celebrities.

Selfies on the red carpet are great, but selfies at one of these downtown hot spots are sure to be better, especially when stars like Priyanka Chopra will be smiling for the picture.

The Windsor Arms Hotel in Yorkville is where old Hollywood glamour likes to rest their partied out bones. Sink yourself in their Living Room and you’re bound to rub elbows with the likes of tinsel town.

King West is your best bet for a stroll and swing by Luma or Canteen where you’re sure to snap celebrities crabbing a quick bite between their screenings. Definitely a spot to meet directors at as they kill time between press conferences.

ShangrilaHome to TIFF’s Asian Film Summit, Shangri-La is definitely on the IT list with Asian celebrities looking to soak in the lap of luxury. Ordering yourself “The Twilight” cocktail will not only allow you to gaze at the acclaimed Porthole bottle but will definitely get you noticed.

Check in to Four Season’s dBar and sip on their “Slumdog Millionaire” cocktail and keep those eyes peeled for some celebrities as they head towards Yorkville for some shopping and dining.

Think you’d have better luck at the spa? Book yourself the Red Carpet Ready package at Spa My Blend in the Ritz Hotel and chances are high that you’ll be soaking your feet next to million dollar toes.

If it’s a party you’re looking for, look towards Hazleton Hotel, Brassaii and the Drake to spin good tunes and lure in the party crowds. If you’ve got the pull, there’s no beating the Soho House and The Spoke Club as hot late night destinations with the luminaries.

This TIFF season keep your cool about town as you prowl the streets of Toronto for your favourite celebrities. Be sure to tweet @Masalamommas of your favourite celebrity spotting and moving watching experiences using #MMTIFF.
