Meet Masalamommas Life Writer, mom of two, Sheba Siddiqui

Life happens and so does family. When Sheba Siddiqui isn’t juggling her life as a producer, writer, blogger and   mother of two boys she will be here at masalamommas.com sharing stories of family and life with you.

Sheba  spends her days profiling non-profit organizations as the host and producer of Rogers TV’s “The Bulletin Board”.  Upon graduating from the University of Toronto and working in finance, she felt like something was missing in her life and returned to school to pursue her passion in broadcast journalism. In broadcasting, Sheba has held positions as a writer, news reporter, television host and producer with Rogers TV and 680News in Ontario, Canada.

As the Life writer for Masalamommas online magazine, Sheba connects with women and mothers by writing about pertinent issues in the South Asian community or as a working mother trying to balance it all. She hopes her stories can inspire women and promote discussions. Sheba wants people to know that no matter what they are going through, they are not alone and hopes her stories can demonstrate this.

Sheba is passionate about family and spends her free time biking, rollerblading and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two boys, ages 1 and 3. When she needs some me time, you can find Sheba with her nose in a book, at a hot yoga class or riding motorcycles along the country roads in her area. She enjoys getting involved in her community and giving back as much as she can, often including her boys in her community outings and charity work. Sheba loves food, fashion and globetrotting when she’s not busy answering her toddlers’ mile-a-minute questions.
